Paul is the founder of the Macon Pickleball Association and co-founder of the Southern Pickleball Association.  After 36 years in the classroom, Paul gave into his pickleball addiction and started creating a framework where he could spread the joy of pickleball with more people.  Paul has taught over 500 players in his Pickleball 101 class over the past few years.  In 2023, the Southern Pickleball Association provided over 60 pickleball tournaments in 7 states and ended the calendar year with over 5000 members.  

Paul has two grown children and a very patient wife.  He is very excited about being a grandparent for the first time in August.
