Jonathan Paris serves as the Executive Director of Sports Tourism for the Myrtle Beach Regional Sports Alliance, offering 25 years of experience in sports tourism and event management. His career has been marked by a commitment to driving economic growth and enhancing the local community through sports. His expertise encompasses both large and mid-sized markets, including a notable 14-year tenure in Boston, where he led the Massachusetts Sports Partnership. 

In Myrtle Beach, Jonathan has successfully implemented a strategic plan with regional venue partners to expand sports tourism, balancing recurring annual events, new event development, and high-profile televised sports competitions to elevate the Grand Strand’s visibility and quality of life for its residents.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jonathan remains deeply engaged in industry leadership. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Sports Events and Tourism Association (Sports ETA) and is currently the President of the South Carolina Sports Alliance.
