Eleyce Coleman brings years of experience in economic development, customer service, and management to her role as Existing Industry Manager at Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority (MBCIA). In this capacity, she serves as a liaison bridging the top industrial and service businesses to numerous government agencies. Her responsibilities include facilitating support, gathering feedback, and highlighting government resource opportunities for existing industries to foster expansion and workforce enhancement. Eleyce advances MBCIA’s mission to promote the economic well-being of Macon-Bibb County by bolstering existing industry in their efforts to create new jobs, retain existing jobs and expand their operations, thereby contributing to the increase of the Macon-Bibb County tax base.
Before joining MBCIA, Eleyce accumulated over two decades of experience in various management roles at Walmart Store Inc. Her background in public relations, human resources and operations management provides insights into personnel dynamics and community engagement. She strategically combines her expertise with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Eleyce gives back to the Macon-Bibb community by serving on the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Warehouse/Logistics Advisory Board, the Bibb County School District College and Career Academy CTAE Board, the Macon-Bibb County Affordable Housing Fund Board, and the Georgia Logistics Summit Steering Committee.
Eleyce Coleman’s extensive experience in economic development and management, coupled with her robust community engagement, positions her as a key leader in her role as Existing Industry Manager at MBCIA. Her commitment to supporting existing industries and her proactive participation in numerous community boards contribute significantly to fostering economic growth in Macon-Bibb County.
Married to her husband Aaron for almost 18 years, she is the proud mother of two- Autumn and Ace.
